Benefits of Gas Cooker

The kitchen in which we prepare food is part of the working triangle that joins the main work areas of the kitchen. Currently, in the market we have the possibility to choose from a wide range of products: gas stoves and electric stoves that are grouped into three types: electric hobs, cast iron, and induction electric cookers. How not to get lost in the wide range of options? What is the best choice for our home?

The gas cooker is the one, sure you have had a lifetime at home, but a few years ago, since the glass-ceramic fever and now the induction, you changed it. And now that the gas stove has become fashionable again, you don't know if to return to them.

Advantages of Gas Cooker

The main advantage of the gas cooker is its best gas cooker prices (from approx. 100 EUR) and a fairly low breakdown rate. On the other hand, gas makes it possible for us to use it even when the power goes out, which is a valuable asset, especially for people living outside the city. It is an efficient and inexpensive installation system, not to mention that gas costs are lower than those of electricity. In addition, there are many people who argue that the food prepared on the stove is simply tastier, so there are so many restaurants that cook only by gas. And this type of cuisine allows cooking with a flame, being like this, we can roast sausages or fry the bread over high heat. We have more culinary options. Finally, it does not require the use of special containers: we can cook both in the wok and in the roasting trays.

They are more efficient

Gas stoves are the least polluting. According to Pablo Barrenechea, responsible for the Sustainable Services area of the Encode Foundation, the ones that consume the most energy are the electric ones and the ones that consume the least, those of gas. In addition, the IDAE , Institute for Diversification and Energy Saving explains that a gas cooker would only emit 200g of CO2 for each kWh of power, while a hob would produce more than double.

It can be cooked with any material

Gas cookers allow much more traditional cooking, ideal for using materials of all kinds, unlike induction cookers. Mud, steel or old iron are perfect for making stews of those of a lifetime.

You save on the bill

This energy efficiency is also translated at the end of the month into a substantial reduction in invoices. Gas cookers allow greater savings since the kWh of power is cheaper than in the case of electric cookers, which also waste heat.

At this point it is necessary to mention that although at the beginning the value between a gas cooker and an electric cooker does not differ much, in the long run, the economic benefits of gas cooking are greater because the consumption of this cooker is lower than the electricity consumption and, in turn, is cheaper and best cooker prices.

Likewise, we must not forget that gas is a cheaper resource.

On the other hand, collecting comments from various people who were discussing which kitchen was better, it is worth mentioning that a large majority opted for gas cooking, arguing that electric kitchens need special electrical installations for consumption and that maintenance and repair of these kitchens are quite expensive.
